My personal choice would probably be the black and white, though it looks great in color as well.Bethanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05230809042212722768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10468433.post-1154804798793485762006-08-05T14:06:00.000-05:002006-08-05T14:06:00.000-05:00Oh... good point 'unknown'! I second Johnathan's opinion of putting the subject more to the left. The rule of thirds, makes a world of difference. So I thought I would contribute. In "contast" to everyone else I would say the B&W is the more powerful of the two.

The color in the backgound, while providing a nice frame for the subject also generates distractions such as the blurred out car. in the B&W version the car dissapears and turns into a nice abstract backgound for the subject.

Nice shot! I like the fact that the photographer is in fact looking you rather than through her camera.David Pricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12869939676153978728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10468433.post-1154658320607666102006-08-03T21:25:00.000-05:002006-08-03T21:25:00.000-05:00I really like the use of color in the first one. Usually I prefer B&W but I like the colors in this particular shot, it seems so bright and cheery in color.

CarolEleganza Strings/ The DeLadurantey Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16800863309361653821noreply@blogger.com
