After lots of tweaking I finally have my Studio blog live online!

Pure Praise...

In response to the question, "What is your
greatest longing?" Joni Eareckson Tada
answers with a statement which most
would not expect.

Hi....

As you can see, I'm still sifting through blog looks :) I'm always open to ideas!

Saw a double rainbow yesterday...reminder of God's promise never to flood the entire earth again....I was driving my sister home from work so I tried to keep my eyes on the road, but it was kinda hard. :)

Have you ever really gazed at a rainbow?
And dwelt on the thought that God made it just for us?

Wow....

Can't wait to see another one!

Goodbye Grandpa....

My friend Jessica Shae had a good post about
making the most of every minute, taking time
to savor memories, paying more attention
to the here and now instead of only on the future
(projects, jobs, etc.)

It was personally meaningful to me after yesterday...

My Grandma called yesterday to say that Grandpa
was having trouble getting enough oxygen from his tank.
He was able to have a little morphine to help him relax
and sleep, and breathe easier. Two hours later Grandma
called again and said he was gone....

Mama and we girls stood in the kitchen around the phone and cried...

We will miss Grandpa very much...and I covet your
prayers for my Grandma as she adjusts to life without him...

in the Air Force, and loved
capturing the light and people he saw.

I am so glad I had a photographic grandfather I could look up to,
and that I could carry on his hobby after he no longer was able
to make photographs. I am so very proud of him....
I miss you "Buh-pa-pa".....
