Try This--A Photographic Idea

" Texture: a surface appearance suggesting the weave of a fabric; and the roughness or smoothness of surfaces. When you are working with a single overall texture, avoid any object(shape or line) that stands out as a center of interest and to fill the entire picture area with only the one texture. If you are working with more than one area of texture, you will have to decide which area is most important to you or if you want to give each area equal prominence. The more you can diminish the strength of shapes and lines, the more you will emphasize overall texture."
-Freeman Patterson "Photographing The World Around You"

Make some photographs with the focus on texture!
