After the Flood

This April I had the wonderful privilege to travel with my family to Sedona, Arizona. The massive red rock formations are magnificent! This was the first time I had ever seen that part of Arizona, and I kept my camera busy the whole time!

As we walked on the trail, I realized that these formations have been virtually untouched since the Flood!

Isn't that amazing?

One of the fun things we did as we walked, was to name several of the formations we saw....

The Three Amigos & Squaw with Papoose

Chateau d'If- "The Count of Monte Cristo"

Falcon

One place I'd recommend visiting when you go to Sedona, is the Chapel of the Holy Cross. Inside you have an amazing view of the valley. Plus the outside affords more photo opportunities. Sunset is a great time to be in the Sedona area because of the effects of the setting sun on the red rocks.

I hope you have enjoyed this 'virual' tour of Sedona, and I hope you will be able to visit that area someday!
Until next time,
