My friend Jessica Shae had a good post about
making the most of every minute, taking time
to savor memories, paying more attention
to the here and now instead of only on the future
(projects, jobs, etc.)

It was personally meaningful to me after yesterday...
My Grandma called yesterday to say that Grandpa
was having trouble getting enough oxygen from his tank.
He was able to have a little morphine to help him relax
and sleep, and breathe easier. Two hours later Grandma
called again and said he was gone....
We will miss Grandpa very much...and I covet your
prayers for my Grandma as she adjusts to life without him...
Thank you :)
Aww... nice post. I'm sorry for you all. I'll be praying. :D

I'm sorry Allison. That has to be so hard...may God hold you and your family, and especially your Grandma, close during these days. My mom's dad is getting really frail, and that's hard for us to see, and I so don't want to lose him. I hope that y'all can minister to your Grandma. =)

O wow allison, I am so sorry to hear this. I too am about to lose a (great) grandparent (to kidney failure) and I feel your loss.
ReplyDeleteI will be praying for you and your family in the days to come.
Love,
Jessica
I am so sorry! I will be praying for your grandma and the family. Was your grandpa a Christian?
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much dear friends :) Just reading your kind words made the tears flow a little bit :)
ReplyDeleteI am not sure if Grandpa accepted Jesus or not, I can only hope he did... :)
Blessings,
Allison
